This Privacy Policy describes how Novascriptum LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Quellba platform ("Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

Account information: name, email address, and password hash when you register.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, IP addresses, browser type, and device information.
QuickBooks data: transaction records, customer/vendor/employee information, and other financial data accessed through your authorized QuickBooks Online connection.
Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and local storage for session management, preferences, and analytics.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to: (a) provide and operate the Service, including transaction editing, synchronization, and import/export features; (b) authenticate your account and maintain security; (c) communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests; (d) monitor and improve Service performance and reliability; (e) comply with legal obligations.
4. QuickBooks Data Handling
QuickBooks data is accessed exclusively through the official Intuit authorization flow. We only access the data necessary to provide the features you use. Your QuickBooks password is never stored by Quellba. QuickBooks data is transmitted and stored using encryption. You can disconnect your QuickBooks company and request deletion of associated data at any time.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data or QuickBooks data. We may share data with: (a) infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements; (b) Intuit, as required by the QuickBooks API integration; (c) law enforcement or regulators if required by law. All third-party processors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
7. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. QuickBooks data is retained while your company is connected and for a reasonable period after disconnection to support troubleshooting. After account deletion or disconnection, associated data is deleted within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) request data portability; (e) object to or restrict certain processing.
